This journal follows the development of Animaglass—from new designs and manufacturing improvements to the milestones, challenges, and decisions that shape our journey.

October 2026 — Refining the Optical Surface

Further improvements to our forming process have produced smoother, more consistent lenticular surfaces, with more controlled reflections and a cleaner overall finish.

These refinements are part of our continuing effort to improve both the visual experience and the physical quality of Animaglass backplates.

September 17, 2026 — Our First Physical Retail Location

Animaglass products were displayed in a physical retail location for the first time, at the Museum of Senses in Bucharest—a place dedicated to optical illusions, perception, and unexpected visual experiences.

It feels like a particularly fitting home for our 3D artwork.

August 2026 — More Freedom to Personalize

Animaglass expanded its modular collection, allowing customers to combine designs with five available case colors.

Rather than limiting each artwork to a predetermined case color, the collection now offers hundreds of possible design and color combinations.

July 6, 2026 — Animaglass Online Store Launch

The official Animaglass online store opened, introducing modular iPhone cases and interchangeable 3D lenticular backplates to customers in Romania and across much of Europe.

The initial collection featured original characters, fantasy-inspired artwork, and optical designs developed specifically for the lenticular medium.
