About Animaglass

Animaglass is built around a modular idea: keep one compatible phone case and change the interchangeable 3D backplate whenever you want a different design.

Our expanding design library lets you change the appearance of your phone without replacing the complete case.

More than a standard lenticular print

Animaglass is not based on the familiar two-image flip effect often associated with inexpensive lenticular products. Our backplates are engineered to create unusually deep, continuous 3D effects at phone-case scale. In certain designs, the perceived image depth can reach 10 cm or more.

This depth is achieved through a specialised lenticular lens, carefully constructed artwork and a precise manufacturing process that produces clear spatial movement as the viewing angle changes. The result is a rigid 2 mm optical backplate designed as a reusable part of the Animaglass modular system—not a thin decorative novelty.

The image is printed using permanent, waterproof inks, designed to remain stable as part of the finished backplate.

Each backplate is individually precision-formed rather than simply die-cut from a mass-produced lenticular print. During forming, we reshape the lens so the backplate curves naturally with the case. This curvature also creates subtle reflections and colour gradients within the backplate itself, accentuating colours and adding visual detail as the phone moves.

Our product images and available videos are created to represent the actual visual behaviour of each design without exaggerating the 3D effect. The effect changes naturally as the phone moves, giving it an unmistakable visual presence designed to attract attention.

Choose the correct product

A complete case set includes one compatible case frame and one interchangeable 3D backplate.

A standalone backplate includes the backplate only and requires an existing Animaglass modular case for the same iPhone model.

Cases and backplates are phone-model-specific. Always select the version that exactly matches your iPhone model.

One case, many backplates. Once you have an Animaglass case, you can collect and swap compatible backplates whenever you like — whether you love different 3D designs or simply want to match your phone to your outfit, style, mood, or occasion.

How it works

Each backplate locks securely into the Animaglass case and can be removed whenever you want to change the design.

Look for the small nail opener, usually located near the upper-left corner of the backplate. It is intentionally subtle and may be barely visible. Place your fingernail into the opening and gently lift the backplate away from the case.

Once learned, the movement becomes quick and easy, turning the case into a truly versatile fashion accessory that can change with your style or occasion.

Designed and produced in the EU

Our 3D artwork, image preparation and backplate production are carried out in Romania, EU. Final assembly, inspection, packing and dispatch also take place here.

Case components and specialised materials are selected from dedicated suppliers, then combined with our interchangeable backplate system.

Quality control

Every backplate passes through several quality-control stages during production. We check image alignment, forming, finish and fit, and every completed product is manually inspected before it is packed.

Because lenticular images depend on very precise alignment, we reject pieces that do not meet our visual or manufacturing standards.

Delivery

Free delivery is available on all orders during our launch period.

Orders are normally processed and dispatched within 1–2 business days. Delivery time after dispatch depends on the destination and delivery service. Available delivery options and estimated delivery times are shown at checkout.

Orders are prepared and dispatched from Romania, within the European Union.

Returns

Eligible products can be returned within 30 days in accordance with our Refund Policy.

You can start a return request directly from your customer account. Sign in using the email address associated with your order, open the relevant order and submit your return request. Once reviewed, we will provide the appropriate next steps.

Return delivery costs normally remain the customer’s responsibility unless the product is defective, damaged or incorrect. Please review the full Refund Policy before returning a product.
